Lead Forward is a breakfast we're hosting on Tuesday 22 September, 9:00–11:30 at Brabners in Exchange Flags, Liverpool. It brings the Lead cohort together with female senior leaders, founders and emerging talent from across the Liverpool City Region.
We have an impressive local female leader lined up to join us for a fireside conversation on the leadership lessons that never made it into a job description but most importantly, we’re dedicating an hour to meaningful connection and conversation.
We ask who you most want to meet and what you're working through right now, and we build the groupings from your answers. So you’ll get to unpick a big challenge with someone who understands what you’re dealing with, or invest in a mentoring conversation with an emerging leader who’d love to be in your shoes in 10 years time.
Half the room will be senior female leaders, half will be the incredible female talent coming through.
Spaces are limited, register for a spot below.

This community event focused on staying grounded in your purpose in times of constant change.
We know that whether your business is scaling quickly, just getting started, or fighting through a tough stretch, one thing is true: change is constant. In those moments, remembering why you’re doing this matters most. But when the pressure is on, that’s often when it’s hardest to stay focused on your north star.
Over this afternoon of connection and content, we heard from Alison Lacey, COO at Radical Forge and Aaron Bogucki, Founder at Big Cookie and Sam Oulton, Collective Action Manager at B Lab UK.

The 2025 Leadership Gathering focused on the theme of "Culture as a Catalyst for Strategy and Growth". We heard from a selection of world-class speakers including Irene Muller, CMO of Joolz, Dr James Kuht MBE, Founder of Inversity, Ged MacDomhnaill, Founder of the Climbing Hangar and Olivia Gautier, Principal at Verlinvest. Attendees enjoyed a choice of workshops centred around company culture and growth and ended the day with networking drinks overlooking the Liverpool skyline.

Gather’s Growth Workshop - part of the Barclays Eagle Labs Ecosystem Partnership Programme, funded by UK Government - centred around aligning your leadership team for success.
It was an afternoon of incredible insight, shared learning, and new connections that closed with the chance to network with fellow leaders.
Attendees heard from a fantastic all-female panel discussing the importance of aligning around values and culture; followed by an interactive and actionable workshop for better alignment delivered by our growth consultant Jon Minchin.
“High calibre people, insightful relevant discussions and information, and plenty of time to network and meet others in the same position”

Gather's Next Chapter celebrated the launch of our new business support programmes, providing a valuable opportunity for networking and building connections. Attendees heard fantastic growth stories from a panel of business leaders who have previously received support from Gather. Additionally, our programme director, Katie, shared insights into what's newly available for digital, creative, and tech businesses in the LCR.
We have hosted a range of alumni events for business leaders who have participated in one or more of our Gather programmes. These events provide the opportunity to network with other business leaders while participating in fun activities such as pasta making or receive relevant content to drive personal and business growth.
