Hanna is a brand, design and innovation business leader with almost 25 years of experience working with leading international brands. She works at the intersection of strategy, design and technology and is committed to helping purpose-led organisations, teams and leaders to achieve their strategic goals through creative leaps.

Tony Foggett

Tony is the co-founder and CEO of Code Computerlove, one of Manchester’s largest and most awarded digital agencies that was acquired in 2016 by MediaCom. Over the past 20 years he has engendered the agency’s continual evolution and reinvention in line with technological and consumer changes.

Amanda McKenna

Co-Founder of Public Zone, a digital agency dedicated to working with the not-for-profit sector, Amanda grew the business to become the UK’s leading digital agency for the sector, working with more than 100 charities before being acquired by Zone in 2012. Amanda is now an investor and advisor to start-ups including Threedium and Good-Loop as well as Founder of women’s network The Waterfront Club.

Toby Arul-Pragasam

Toby is an Executive-level Leader, Consultant, Programme Director and Coach, with 18 years' experience of building, managing, leading teams and organisations. He has worked across multiple business functions in globally oriented SMEs including Strategy, Operations, Finance, Commercial, Business Development, HR, Design & Delivery.

Martina Gobec

Martina is a design strategist, leader and coach and has led creative teams at the likes of Sony, ustwo and Bain & Company. She is passionate about creating meaningful, human experiences out of technology services and products.

David Crawford

David has worked for the last 25 years in marketing and digital agencies of all shapes and sizes, most recently as Managing Director of Branded3. He has held senior positions at McCann, BJL and twentysix and worked directly with clients such as American Airlines, UPS and Bentley as well as a number of tech start-ups, delivering their digital & marketing strategies.

Kate Wood

Kate is a leadership coach and facilitator with a background in learning & development, employee engagement strategy, continuous improvement, communications and marketing. She has worked across the board in blue-chip, non-profit and civil service organisations, and supports leaders and businesses to gain clarity and strengthen resilience.

Ben Davies

Ben has worked in creative businesses for over 20 years, as a Managing Director, Creative Director and a hands-on Designer and Artist - 12 years as Co-Founder and MD at The Neighbourhood. He now draws on this experience in his work as a Non-Exec Director, advisor and mentor to leaders and teams, in companies of various sizes.

Grace Marshall

Grace coaches, trains, writes and speaks on productivity. She helps people adopt new ways of working and thinking about their work to replace stress, overwhelm and frustration with success, sanity and satisfaction.

Mark Kelly

Mark has a digital and operational background and has consulted and coached owners and their teams in a range of agency types. Mark writes the guides and articles for the Smart Insights ‘Agency Growth Hub’ and its operational management toolkit. He is also an associate lecturer for Manchester Met University on their ‘Big Agency’ unit.

Louis Georgiou

Louis is co-founder and Managing Director of Code Computerlove, which is now part of the MediaCom North Group. His areas of expertise have spanned digital strategy, UX and agile delivery for clients, such as Oxfam, Brother, BBC and Go-Ahead Trains.

Susanna Lawson

Susanna founded OneFile which grew to a team of 80+ and over 1.3m users, was listed in The Times Top 100 businesses to work for in 2021 and was awarded a Queen's Award for Innovation. She successfully sold OneFile in October 2021 to Constellation, the second-largest tech company in Canada.

Freia Muehlenbein

Freia has scaled a digital content, online PR and SEO offering from 0-100 staff, delivering global campaigns across 40 markets. During that time, she was ranked 7th in The Drum's 30 Under 30 Women in Digital, and has worked with one of the most successful digital marketing agencies in the UK to deliver the company strategy and change programmes.

Steve Dougan

Steve has background in mobile telecoms, digital learning, consultancy and startup ecosystem design. Working for and as a consultant to a diverse range of leading organisations, such as Orange SA, Vodafone Group, Price Waterhouse Coopers, BT, Royal Mail, and the Fire Service.

Dan Taylor-Watt

Dan has over 20 years experience in developing and scaling digital products. He led the 250-strong team who took BBC iPlayer from 7-day catch-up to fully-fledged TV streaming service and launched BBC Sounds in 2018. He now works with organisations, large and small, to develop their digital strategy and execution.

Jon Minchin

Jon has spent a number of years at Unilever managing the creative aspects of global innovation projects and helped to shape and define some €1bn brands including Magnum and Lipton. He works closely VC&PE backed businesses helping to clarify their positioning and strategic advantage.

David Levine

David is a serial entrepreneur in the technology sector. As Founder and ex CEO of DigitalBridge (now Fixtuur) he pioneered the use of AI in consumer-facing design solutions concluding deals with some of the world's largest DIY retailers. He is also an advisor and NED for several technology startups/scaleups.

Mark Harland

Mark is a leader, consultant and social entrepreneur with more than 25 years’ experience in running businesses and coaching leaders. He has worked extensively with global brands including Cadbury and Jaguar, as well as supporting high growth SMEs working with their management teams to unlock growth potential.

Fiona Craig

Fi is an academically qualified and professional accredited behavioural change coach. With over 20 years in the creative agency world, she's managed clients, led teams, and shaped businesses. Her strategic expertise includes work with brands like British Airways, Sainsburys, and McDonalds. Today, Fi coaches agency founders and leaders, helping them navigate agency life and promote purposeful action.

Tom Penford

Tom is a senior entrepreneurial leader with experience at PwC and boutique strategy consultancies. He has worked in diverse settings, from multinational corporations to startups, and possesses a unique blend of technical expertise as a Chartered Accountant, coupled with a strong passion for creating impactful products and businesses.

FJ Rutjes

FJ's held several senior leadership roles in retail, FMCG, healthcare and med- tech. He’s an innovation advisor to hungry start-ups and ambitious scale-ups and has worked with some of Europe's most well-known brands, such as Philips, Innocent, KLM and Mont Blanc.

Application Criteria

Do you lead a team of 10+ staff?

Are you based in the Liverpool City Region?

There will also be a small number of wildcard places on the programme for businesses who do not meet the headcount criteria but demonstrate exceptional potential for growth. So if you don’t tick all the boxes do contact us and talk to us about your application.

Beyond is more than 70% subsidised by the Liverpool City Region Combined Authority so you only pay £2,500 + VAT towards the cost of the programme.
